Avitar problems

why is it that every time i try and upload an avitar...it says it is too large. but its only 100x100 pixles

Ill take a look - I had changed teh peramiters but it looks liek they may have been adjusted when we did the redesign...........

it isnt jsut the dimensions of the file htat count but also the size - there is a limitation to how many bytes it can be,

ok I checked the allowable size and its fine it seems we are having avatar issues but not with all of them....

I sent a message to commish so hopefuly ti will be resolved soon....

I test-uploaded an image for my profile, looks to have worked ok.

Anyone else having any problems if the image is within the required specs?

btw if you are having trouble with your signature, there are max requirements for those too. They are set by your admin, and can be changed on each forum.

maybe he had it as a .PNG originally, so it exceeded the KB amount...

I'm having avatar problems too. It doesn't matter what picture I try to upload, what size it is, etc, it won't work.

send me the file you want andrea and ill give it a shot,.,,,,,

I discovered both problems ...
Enable remote avatars was set to "no"
Maximum Image Dimensions In Signatures was set to maximum of 468 width, I changed that to 600.

Both should be fixed now.
