Gino... who cares if the Spurs deserved to win or not?. Winning is scoring more points than your opponent and that's it. Whether you deserve it or not, a win is a win.
I mean, had we won, we would have done it by one point, which means that the Lakers wouldn't have deserved to win either. Now, even though none of the teams would have deserved to win, the Spurs having scored more points than the Lakers, would have deserved the less to lose.
Besides, it's not always possible to win "pretty". The heart of a champions shows when you can bring things other than skill to the game. It kills me to say it, but the Lakers who beat Portland and Sacramento showed the true heart of a champion, they brought out heart and clutchness in games where they lacked level of play. The Spurs showed that same heart last night, making and incredible comeback and hitting a clutch shot.

The bottom line is that if it hadn't been for the officials, the game would have been ours. From where I see it, there is no way you can twist it.
