We have all enjoyed Sean's remarks over the years. His favorite Sean-ism of mine is "no soup for you".
"Plethora" A plethora of shots. A plethora of moves. A plethora of forwards. A plethora of plays.

Really, Sean, find a new word. I counted once. He used that word like 11 times in a game or something. Way too much, but it still makes me laugh because of the overuse. I guess it makes him feel smart. That, to me at least, typifies a Sean-ism.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I am admittedly biased, but Sean is the BEST color guy in the business! This year when Timmy threw down a NASTY dunk on Ben Wallace Sean said "We're gonna need a timeout to pump Ben Wallace's stomach to get the ball back" I also get a kick out of his "He undressed him out there" and " he better go out there and pick up his jock"

Though not Sean directly, I remember last year when Ron Mercer was guarding someone real closely and the color commentator said "Ron is trying desperately to get into his shorts!" There was a pause of about 3 seconds, then Sean burst out laughing.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I got to listen to Sean early on in his broadcasting career then he was working for ESPN. He was one of the best colour guys I have heard.

I dream of someday Jay Howard and Sean Elliott working together.

On watching Bruce Bowen play defense tightly up next to Kobe "when this game is over Kobe will have to shower just to wash Bruce Bowen's smell off of him".

I love whenever he made fun of Malik's thunder thighs! Sean is basically just a teammate that doesn't play in the game but tells anyone who will listen how awesome his team is.
Not really a Sean-ism, but I thought it was funny when he was talking about his mom the other day, and how she always messes up players' names. She would call Antonio Daniels Antonio McDaniel, and Sean started to do it too, so he would tell his mom not to talk around him anymore.

San Antonio residents:
be THANKFUL that you have Sean doing commentary for Spurs games!
Out here, we have the terrible Joel Myers and the Uber-Homer Mychal Thompson calling Lamer games on the radio.
Totally DREADFUL!!!!!!
Joel Myers was the Spurs play by play guy right before he went to LA. As far as Mychal Thompson goes....don't get me started on that waste of skin.

There are so many Sean-isms that i just love! I'm most thankful to have him commentating our games and I hope he continues to do so for many many years. Even when we are losing or playing bad he always seems to come up with a little "ism" to get me to smile

I like the fact that if a Spur screws up...Elliott points it out. Lance Blanks is horrible about that. A Spur could walk up and hit an opponent in the face with a broomstick and Blanks would call it incedental contact.
