I'd love to see different colors. 
 
Big thing that bothers me is I can't see the date/time of the posts at all against these background colors. 
 
The high contrast makes it tiresome to read a lot.

Maybe more important is changing the text colors. Dark blu on a black background doesn't work well at all. Is everyone here aware that there is another Spurs Central? It is obviously not a registered name, but that's what he is calling his site. I think he posts at SpursReport sometimes.
