Fourteen games into the season the Seattle Super Sonics still reign as the number one team on the Power Rankings. Indiana, who has three players suspended are the number one team out East and every team now has at least one win under their belt. Here go the Power Rankings:

– Seattle Super Sonics (11-2) – Everyone is still waiting for the Sonics to come down from cloud nine, but they are still holding onto the best record in the league. The shots are falling for the Sonics at the moment and the team is playing superb ball.

– Phoenix Suns (11-2) – The Suns have rolled off seven straight wins and Amare Stoudemire is playing tremendous basketball. The acquisition of Steve Nash looks better by the day; however, how severe was the concussion Nash received last night?

– San Antonio Spurs (10-3) –The Spurs have had a 4th quarter meltdown in Toronto and lost to a Memphis team that was lacking their super star in Gasol. However, the Spurs had two impressive wins against Dallas and Denver and appear back on track.

–Indiana Pacers (10-3) – Indiana took a devastating blow with the suspensions of O’Neal, Jackson, and Artest. Yet, Indiana still holds the best record out East and Freddie Jones is playing the role of Superman by carrying this team at the moment.

– Sacramento Kings (8-4) – The beginning of the season for the Kings started off very rough, but the Kings have pulled off seven straight wins just like the Suns. If Chris Webber can get back to 100% the Kings could become a force again out West.

– Miami Heat (9-5) – The Heat are 8-1 against the East and O’Neal appears to be in dominant form early into the season. If Butler and Jones can become reliable offensive weapons, Miami can easily compete for the number one seed out East.

– Dallas Mavericks (9-5) – The Mavericks finally got off their three game losing streak, but we must keep in mind they are missing Michael Finley and Dirk is playing on an injured leg. Nevertheless, the Mavericks are hanging tough and still dangerous.

– Utah Jazz (8-5) – The Jazz started off hot and have now cooled off a tad. Carlos Arroyo is back and adds more talent to an already young and talented Jazz team. If the Jazz can get the chemistry going they will be a tough bunch to compete with.

– Cleveland Cavaliers (8-4) – Lebron James does not appear like he will be going into a sophomore slump any time soon. King James is playing MVP type basketball while Drew Gooden seems like he has found his comfort zone with the Cavaliers.

– Minnesota Timberwolves (7-5) – Kevin Garnett is putting everything on his shoulders and attempting to win every game on his own. Yet, one cannot blame KG when you have teammates like Olowakandi who is too busy getting into bar scuffles.

– Orlando Magic (7-4) – The Magic are holding their own out East and have vastly improved from last year. Francis is averaging 20ppg and dishing out 6 assists, while rookie Dwight Howard is pulling down 10 rebounds.

– Los Angeles Clippers (7-6) – It’s odd to see the Clippers still above 500 after playing thirteen games into their season. Rookie Shaun Livingston is out at the moment, but the Clippers still have Brand and Maggette to hold the fort down and compete.

– Los Angeles Lakers (7-6) – Kobe Bryant is averaging nearly 30 ppg and giving out 6 assists, but the Lakers still find themselves one game above 500. Vlade Divac has returned and should bring some needed interior presence to the floor.

– Washington Wizards (6-5) – The Wizards are putting up more points per night than any team in the league. Jamison is flourishing out East and Arenas is getting back into groove. If the Wizards can play some average defense they might gather more wins.

- Denver Nuggets (6-6) – Nene has returned and the Nuggets four game-winning streak was snapped by the Spurs last night. Carmelo started off a little shaky, but it now appears like his confidence is back and so is his much needed jump shot.

– Philadelphia 76ers (6-6) – Korver is a nice addition for the 76ers off the bench and is becoming a reliable scorer. If the 76ers can grant Robinson a trade and get some valuable pieces in return, Philadelphia should be even better than expected.

– Detroit Pistons (6-6) – The Pistons are missing their heart and soul in Ben Wallace and have missed Larry Brown on some occasions due to doctors’ advice. However, they have battled and maintained their record from falling under 500.

– New York Knicks (6-6) – The trio of Marbury, Crawford, and Thomas is working for the meantime, but come playoff time the Knicks are going to need a good inside presence. Will Allen Houston be shipped off? Only time will tell with the Knicks.

- Portland Trailblazers (6-6) – The Blazers are coming off a loss to Dallas, but Randolph is putting up a double double with 20ppg and around 11 boards. The Blazers squad is talented, but they need to mature quickly to become a consistent team.

– Toronto Raptors (6-8) – The Raptors had an impressive comeback win against San Antonio and Chris Bosh is becoming a stud. On the other hand, Vince Carter is looking more and more like a dud and the Toronto natives are unhappy with their supposed star.

– Houston Rockets (6-8) – The Rockets are on a two game losing skid. For being 7-5, Yao Ming should be averaging more than 8 rebounds per game. McGrady is averaging 21 ppg, but the Yao and Mcgrady punch has yet to make much of an impact.

– Memphis Grizzlies (5-8) – Hubie Brown is out and the Czar is in. Will the Grizz sink or swim the rest of the season after the resignation of Hubie Brown? Can Mike Fratello get these players back on the right track and make it back to the playoffs?

– Boston Celtics (4-7) – Paul Pierce is putting up good numbers as always but Doc Rivers is not getting much production for his two big men in Raef and Blount. How much longer until Gary Payton begins to gripe about the teams wins and losses?

– Charlotte Bobcats (2-9) – The Bobcats have lost some close games due to inexperience and lack of talent. Yet, they come and play every night and Emeka Okafor is coming along slowly but surely. The Bobcats have done well with what they have.

– Gold State Warriors (3-9) – Montgommery finally has a couple of wins under his belt. However, the Warriors don’t bring the intensity every night and the focus lacks throughout games. Montgommery must get his players attention to salvage the season.

– Milwaukee Bucks (3-7) – The shooting of Redd and Mason has not been enough to snap the Bucks six game losing streak. Maurice Williams was doing okay at the point, but this team desperately needs TJ Ford back and that appears very unlikely.

– Atlanta Hawks (2-10) – Does anyone even show up to Philips Arena to cheer the Hawks? The Hawks are 1-5 on the road and not much better at home. Antwan Walker must stop trying to do everything and get his teammates involved in the basketball game.

– New Jersey Nets (2-10) – The Nets have the longest losing streak going at the moment with eight straight losses. Jefferson’s shoulders are about to collapse with all the weight he’s pulling this year. The Nets are in shambles and the future is not too bright.

– Chicago Bulls (1-9) – The Baby Bulls just recently got their first win of the season. Loul Deng is practically the Bulls best player and when a rookie is the best player on the team it kind of makes you wonder what the rest of the team is like.

– New Orleans Hornets (1-10) – The Hornets have yet to win one home game and it appears like the Hornets will be at the bottom of the Power Rankings for a long time. The Hornets better start preparing for who they will take with the #1 pick in this years dr
