Power Rankings (30 games into the Season)

Yeah, I remember having the Nuggets and Rockets up there at the beginning of the season, Alamo. I really thought Denver had a legitimate shot because they added Kenyon and they had made the playoffs the previous season. However, Denver made the mistake of using their money on Kenyon when they already had an up and coming PF in Nene. The Nuggets should of spent the money of a SG, but they rolled the dice on Voshon Lenard and lost him for the season.

Thank god they didn't, despite our convincing win without him last night we need Manu.

Silver and Black Baby

Have you voted for your Spurs today?

Yeah, I remember Manu making the trip to Denver, but he was very honest with Kiki and told him that his intentions were to stay with San Antonio, so Denver did not pursuit him too hard. However, Q Richardson was available and they should of pushed harder for him.

Where were these rankings taken from?
The most recent ones that I saw (earlier today on ESPN) had the Spurs in the number two spot.
Plus, every time San Antonio does claim the top slot, they always manage to lose a game or two right after they've been deemed the best team in the league.
I say let 'em keep flying under the radar and and watch the rest of the league overlook them as per usual until the Spurs win the Championship, at which time everyone else will say "Where the heck did THEY come from?!???!".
I personally enjoy the Spurs getting some recognition because I'm very proud of what they are doing. I think it brings some recognition to the city and it can also expand the Spurs fan base even more.

As of now, our fan base overseas and down into Latin America has to be right up there with any other teams because of our roster and winning ways. We have Beno and Rasho from Slovenia, Manu and soon to be Scola from Argentina, Tony from France, Sean from New Zealand, Romain from Central Africa, and of course Duncan from the Virgin Islands.
