I compromised the looks of the front page by setting all of the text to a size that would display well no matter what text size you have your browser set to. <br>

In IE, you can go to View > Text Size and adjust it there. <br>

For an example of a site that doesn't have their text set so it will display well for those that have their text set very large, check out <!--EZCODE LINK START--><a href="http://www.neworleanshornets.com">www.neworleanshornets.com</a><!--EZCODE LINK END-->. If your text size is set "largest" or "larger" it isn't all readable. At spurscentral.com it doesn't look as good with very large text, but it is readable.
