Scoreboard England.

Jacques Chirac, I'm sure France thanks you for insulting two European nations and ultimately single-handedly costing Paris the 2012 Games. I'll post a link momentarily...

It's not like Chirac is the only one who thinks British food is bad. Wasn't tactful for a President to say, though.

I'm glad they'll be in London, though I would have been happy with Paris, too.

Andrea, its easy to kick a man when he's down, I know. But really, he's done this before and he's extremely arrogant. He really did not have to crack Finland like that. That was stupid and only the naive would think that his comments on Finnish cuisine, or lack thereof, did not sway the Finnish votes. In fact, I'm gonna email a couple of Finnish friends and get their take. Back at yall soon...

Chirac insulted their food? What could he hope to gain by that? Even though I agree about the badness of British cuisine. I spent three weeks in England and had delicious home-cooked meals at various bed-and-breakfasts. But most of the restaurants were surprisingly bad. American restaurants have faster service, bigger portions, and *much* better-tasting food. Perhaps that's why we're so fat.

"We got our behinds kicked and we got spit on. Well blood pudding and bangers and Mash can't be as bad as frog legs and snails like the French eat. Im not suprised by Chiracs comments; he's French. he is suppost to be arrogent and hate the Brittish.

NBAboards.net
NBA Hoops Online

i watched the news the other day, it was about the olympics and they showed parker. i wasn't too sure what it was about though. i read somewhere that parker made a comment about how the committee favors london all the time, and how ridiculous it was that they've been denied 3 times or something like that...

Yeah Mia I read that in an article on MSN.com. Parker did indeed make some comments along those lines.

France and Britain have both had the summer Olympics twice, neither of them since 1948. As for the winter Olympics, France has hosted that three times and Britain never. So I'm not terribly sympathetic to Tony's remarks. He's still a little studmuffin, though.

"We got our behinds kicked and we got spit on. While I think frog legs are just a fancy way of saying "chicken," I absolutely LOVE escargot. Put some garlic butter sauce on it and I am in heaven. Of course, bust out some carpaccio (thinly-sliced raw meat) with shaven swiss, lemon, capers, and some good vinegar and I will slobber all over anything infront of me.
___________________________________________
