Star Trek

Just got back from seeing it, awesome movie!!!!, and the best thing is that you don't have to be a fan or have ever seen an episode of the tv series to understand what is going on; ofcourse there are the inside jokes and slight nods to the series.

Another on the list of great movies/tv shows JJ Abrams has made: Lost, Cloverfield, Mission Impossible 3, and now Star Trek.

He is great at leaving little hints to his other movies as well as bring back his favorite actors for cameo roles


Everyone should go see it, I even loved the little nod to a mistake that Star Wars and most space movies make in battle scenes.

I even think he makes fun of William Shatner, and his weight problem , again go see it , you will not be disappointed !!!

I'm going to be seeing this movie tomorrow.

Alias was another Abrams TV series that was pretty good, at least the first 2 seasons. It kinda turned to crap after that.

I went and saw Star Trek last night. It was pretty good. Of course I really liked the old original TV series too. I still catch episodes of that show on in the middle of the night every once and a while. The character setup in the movie takes a while, but it still has some entertaining parts that are funny if you know anything about the original series. Once the action starts it is pretty sweet.

Star Trek was awesome!! Looking forward to a sequel.. hopefully.

i actually enjoyed it! i thought i was going to be confused but it was good

Saw it today, and I agree it was pretty good! I've never been a huge Star Trek/space movie/comic book geek (not calling anyone here one. lol) or anything, but I enjoyed it.
