I said it because Bigdiz had stated how he loved the british, and I wanted to show that no matter how we feel towards them, we should all be against terrorism.

Thanks. I really didn't intend to kick them while they're down or anything. In fact I used the wrong words... I don't 'hate' the British, or any community or population for that matter. I just don't like Britain as much as I like other countries.

The British have my sympathy. I don't understand the cowardice of killing and maiming innocent people! Having lived in England (1973-1976) I used to have friends their, but they have all passed on. I had a good friend, Snowy (very blonde hair) who was in the Royal Army and was shot by a sniper in Northern Ireland - 1979.

DC, sorry to hear that about your friend. North Ireland is really fuc*ed up. I have a cousin who lives in the Republic or Ireland (AKA Southern Ireland) and he told me that NI's people would throw rocks from their buildings at SI's kids who were going to school. KIDS!!

They could actually follow the perpetrators street by street, retracing their steps using all the footage. 
 
Public cameras are a controversial subject due to people's want for privacy, but in this case these cameras may have actually helped. How ironic that the author of "1984", the novel that shows the dangers of complete surveillance and introduces us to Big Brother, was British.
