The future of Club Spurs.

We need new guys. :( I'm basically ROY here and we need some more traffic. I'm being Debbie McDowner here but we might die off when the Spurs are rebuilding if we don't get newbies. :noidea:

There is less traffic here, but the atmosphere is friendlier.

It's not as busy as some of the other Spurs forums, but I prefer this one. Like Dripping said, Club Spurs has a much friendlier atmosphere and I feel that because of the smaller number of posters we actually get to "know" (in an online sense) each other. For someone who no longer lives in Texas, Club Spurs to me is like a group of friends that I watch games with. I really appreciate all of you here!

Club Spurs will survive. Just ask Blondie. She was here when it all began fifty years ago. :P

I haven't done as much to promote as before but we have a new writer who will be doing a podcast radio show as well as a longstanding friendship with Bill Ingram a legitimate sportswriter......If anyone would like to help promote and build the site I welcome any and all help. This place has always been a collective effort.

many of us were here through the lean years. Heck I survived being a Spurs fan after the ice trade and before David and man those were some lean years. I was always interested in hanging with other Spurs fans. i found many kindred spirits here and have enjoyed myself. I know of other "Spurs Fan Sites" whose numbers fluctuate with the win percentage. Not my thing. I would be very interested in more get togethers like the old days. Hoagies at Malik's , meeting Blondie, Twankies and the gang now that was fun.

I agree.... it just became hard to get a time when everyone is available. Maybe we should set up a poll with three or four options and see which ones work for most people.......

And of course it bears repeating that anyone wanting to write an article, or contribute graphics, has carte blanche to do so at anytime.....

YOu can write about anything you like - It can be a game preview or just a general analysis.....whatever you feel inspired or motivated to create.
