Where are you from?

Must be hard to be so far away. I know the feeling. I moved to East Tennessee in December and it was torture having to watch all the celbrating in San Antonio. I had taken part in all the previous celebrations and had gone out to get my championship T-Shirt the very night they won it. The next morning we would all go in to work talking about the series and still excited from watching the Spurs celebrate another title. This year I went in to work the next morning and I actually had people say stuff like: "Are they still playing?" or "Did San Diego win last night?" Yes, it's not a typo, people were asking if San DIEGO won....I WANTED TO SLAP SOMEONE!! But, my brother went out and got me my shirt and hat and will bring it to me when he comes to visit.

i live in rio hondo, tx. that's a four hour drive south of san antonio... i've been to one spurs game my entire life (i'm only 23, so there's still hope lol) and i loved it. been a spurs fan since as long as i can remember. that and a houston rockets fan.... but the spurs are my number one favorite basketball team.

yeah, rio hondo is down in the valley. it's about 20 minutes from the mission/mcallen area.

lol, sweet.. I ask because when I got married, I lived down there in Mcallen for about 6 months. Have some cousins by marriage that go to La Joya HS.
