They are a couple of grade A douchebags to be certain. This years finals are a no win situation for true lovers of basketball

Actually IMO these Finals themselves have been great, even if we don't like either team. All the games have been close, with 3 of the 5 so far coming down to the last shot. Last years Lakers-Celics had some good ones but there were still some one-sided blowouts. I can't stand Cuban but I'm rooting for Dirk, dude is just a straight beast this year. I've always liked Kidd too. I can't root for the Heat anymore for how they mocked Dirk being sick. Even though I still have nothing against Lebron or Wade, just think their pricks for doing that. Plus they'll win at least one during the next 5 years..... and they havent been a likeable team since day 1 of their pre-celebration. Not go Mavs.....but Go Dirk!!!!!

I'm happy for Dirk but that's about it. The Mavs will be the defending champs next year. They earned it.

But now all pleasantries and congratulations aside it's back to normal - the Mavs still suck!!

Well I think this is a sad day when we see our most hated rivals winning a ring. Not sure it would have been much better had those douchebags in South Beach won. It was a very good series though with impressive and entertaining basketball.

Now we wait. When will the players and the owners agree on a new collective bargaining agreement? I hope it doesn't cut too much into next season, if at all. Or if it does, I hope it is worth it. Get some things in place that really make a difference and make it a more popular and better sport to watch both in person and on TV.

Anyways congra... Oh I just can't even say it.

Even if it's our hated rivals that won, it certainly beats that collection of pompous asses in South Beach from rubbing it in all of our faces. Besides, the Mavs being the defending champions means it'll be that much sweeter when we knock them out of the playoff next year.

I don't mind those cute little Mavs finally winning one. Dirk and Kidd are class acts. Terry and Cuban are choads. Oh well. I'd have root for the Iranian national team versus the Heat. Better it be a Texas team I suppose. What does that make, 7 NBA championships for Texas teams. Not bad.

It's tough, I didn't want neither team to win, when you see Cuban laying at that trophy with that ridiculous pose, I mean goddamn! And Terry too, we are gonna hear & see it all year.
But, I agree with Pitter, specially Kidd, coming short 2 times (2nd time felt sweet though didn't it?)
And I firmly agree what Pitter says about Cuban & Terry too.

I think Riley gives Spols 1 more year and will express that he should lucky he even got that. Anything short of a roaring start next season and Spols is out.

I just read that he maintains his trust in Spols, but no info on how many seasons.
