I checked out the LA/NO game. Lakers lost and Kobe came out with a sprained ankle.

Mavs beat the pants off us, they'll prolly sweep the Fakers

Dwight Howard mid season trade to L.A. next season, I'm calling it right now.
Bynum and chumps for Howard. The NBA, where horse poop happens

Damn, I didn't expect the Mavs to be up two games! Still don't like jet and Cuban but I'll give the team serious props if they eliminate the Lakers. The Oompa Loompa went off last night. LMAO at Artest!

Marc J. Spears
Lakers forward Ron Artest suspended one game without pay for swinging his arm and striking the face of Mavericks guard J.J. Barea.

swinging his arms and gently striking Barea's chops, good luck. It was a cheapshot clothesline in the closing seconds of a game that wasn't even close. I'd have felt bad for JJ, but he's a Maverick.

I'm seriously torn, this is so bittersweet as a Spurs fan. Of course I'd LOVE to see the Lakers down 3-0 and broomed, but it would be super hard to watch Cuban and the Mavs pull off a huge win like that....and if they did they'd probably be favorites to win the West. Ugghhhh

To see Lakers being swept is always good. And that couldn't guarantee a chamption for Mavs. I see they will be kicked out by thunders.

I have seen that same level of focus before. On the faces of the Spurs in 2003. I would bet on the Mavs the rest of the way. They finally have the right level of mental maturity to finish the job.

Have to hand it to the Mavs. I'm really hoping they sweep the Lakers tomorrow. It might even be a worse upset than the Spurs 1st round exit (1 seed/8 seed). It's going to be tough. Please don't let yourself be the first team to lose a series after being up 3-0.

The Lakers kind of look like the Spurs. Playing a better team, of course, but also making really silly mistakes and not putting in the effort.

Maybe Phil will punch Pau in the face tomorrow!

As much as it pains me to say:
..go mavs...
