Air Finley ?

Take away the "Jer" and Texas' new tight end might be mistaken for the NBA veteran who plays for the San Antonio Spurs.

Freshman Jermichael Finley wrested a sure interception from Iowa State safety Brandon Hunley in the end zone and turned it into his first career touchdown.

"It was like going up for a dunk,'' said the 6-5, 236-pound Finley, who averaged 24 points and 20 rebounds through 22 games his senior year at Diboll High.

When asked if he was entertaining thoughts of playing for the Longhorn basketball team, Finley said he didn't know.
