You have any stories about Spur games from the past?

Anyone remember the water cannons going off at the dome? I wish Mitsy had that game in the video forum.

- Malik going down vs. Dallas in 2003 playoffs
- Putting Faker fans at their place at the Alamodome and SBC as they make noise after another Faker loss

There are many but these come to mind from games I was at live:

-Bruce Bowen dropping trey after trey during Game 2 of the '03 Spurs/Lakers playoff series. :pipe:

-Game 7 for the '05 championship. I'm still in awe of the atmosphere that day.

-Any game where Mark Cuban is shown frowning like a baby on the video screen.

-Spurs vs. Pistons circa 1995. At the end of the game I realized I had left pieces of broken peanut shells on the hair of the guy in front of me. He didn't know and I didn't tell him either.

I figured out why not many of you have any stories since most of you jumped on the spurs wagon after 1999*

Anyone ever buy cheap tickets and still sat in a good seats?

I used to pay 5.00 dollars the red McCombs special and sit in the 25 dollar seats.

I think everyone here has just been a bit preoccupied with other things - that and we don't get too excited until April....

my favorite games were in teh old convention cener arena, but I never got to see Gewrvin play live.

I didn't go ntil after we already had Robinson. Sure do miss him,

All the time. Games at the Hemisfair were the best.

One time my moms company got 4 courtside seats at the Arena (the Spurs were bad...they were easy to get) and my best friend and I and our girlfriends (We looked good with courtside seats!) went. During warmups, two missed shots ended up in our seats. We got to interact with Spurs "legends" Mark Iavaroni and Mike Smrek!

It was still cool though.

Hey Mouse, why not regale us with Mavs tales of old? Funny that you mention jumping on the bandwagon...I believe you did just that.
