.This time last season former WVU star forward Da’Sean Butler wasn’t able to play basketball because he was still recovering from an ACL tear. Now this season, he still can’t play because there is no NBA right now. The National Basketball Association is currently in a lockout this also puts Butler’s chance to playing professional basketball on hold, once again.
Butler signed with San Antonio Spurs towards the end of last season after his ACL healed. He was sent to the Austin Toros of the NBA D-League. He spent three games down there and didn’t play in any games, but he did get to work out with the team and get used to being a professional basketball player.
