REVISO, ITALY - OCTOBER 1: Vinny Del Negro, Director of Player Personnel for the Pheonix Suns (R), receives a special Treviso Benetton jersey from Gilberto Benetton, host to the Suns, prior to the start of the Supercopa Championship basketball game between Treviso Benetton and Napoli on October 1, 2006 at Palaverde in Treviso, Italy. D'Antoni brought two championships to Treviso, and successfully coached and played in Milan, Italy. The Suns are conducting preseason workouts in Treviso as part of the NBA Europe Live Tour 2006.

I remember Vinny from the very first Spurs game I went to. I couldn't have been more than ten or eleven years old.

Vinny hit a whole bunch of three pointers that game and from then on, I thought he was super cool. :)

Vinny was alway a class act. I remember when he was traded (don't even remember to whom now), he wrote a letter to the editor of the Express News and took out an ad in the paper thanking the fans for their support and said being a Spur is something he will always remember and that he would alway love the city of San Antonio.

I remember Vinny at NC State, since i live in North Carolina i can say that he is still a big name at NC State. Nothing but good stories..a class act!

When I first graduated from college, Vinny lived in the appartment complex across form mine and used to rollar blade down our street. :P

Vinny signed as a free agent with the Bucks in the 99 season after his time in San Antonio.
