Lakers are 4-1!!!

Wow, who woulda thunk it? Except for all us Lakers fans, of course!

Lakers beat the Suns, Warriors, Sonics and T-wolves (lost to Seattle on the road for their only loss).

Incredible!

Andrew Bynum is making a serious name for himself as the Baby Shaq.

The excitement is back in the Lakers!

Bynum has been a beast. He is looking like he may be yet another great center for the Lakers. Didn't he just turn 19?

I would have never guessed the Lakers would start the season like this. I was laughing at that opening day starting lineup against Phoenix, saying it may be the worst looking starting 5 I had seen in a long time, but those guys put on the major comeback to win that one. I like the additions of Farmar, Evans and Radmanovic, and with all the young guys like Turiaf, Walton, and Cook improving this team looks pretty deep. I still think they are pretty weak at the point guard position but with the way Kobe dominates the ball that is really not as important of a position for them.

Farmar and the triangle offense go together like peanut butter and jelly. Seriously though, he just seems to natural in the office that it's unbelievable, he'll have the starting PG position before the All-Star break. Smush is the back-up PG and Sasha behind him, plus Lamar plays Point-Forward so I actually think we're on our way to being deep at 1 spot. We get Kwame back on Friday, it will be interesting to see who gets the starting spot between him and Bynum.

And yes, Bynum just turned 19, this kid is going to be freaking amazing!

Its still too early in the season. And most of their games are played at home.

Didn't they start hot too last year or the year before?

The Spurs never really started hot in the beginning but tends to make a run in the second half.

I was watching ESPN today and an interesting thing was said "It would be interesting to see how long Kobe is willing to share the ball this season."

the key to the lakers season is in the hands of one lamar odom. he basically runs the triangle not the PG. lamar has the ball in his hands just as much as kobe and lamar is great at finding open guys. when lamar plays well the lakers win...coincidence?

The problem is, Lamar never plays well the whole season. He is Mr. November. If he's on your fantasy team, trade him just after Thanksgiving while his stock is still high. He's gonna fade, like he always does.
