If the Spurs are serious about cutting Jefferson they have less than 24 hours to let it be known. :brow:

I think you are correct and that may not be a bad thing. It took many players more than a year to finally fit into Pop's system. He could have a breakout year.......or he could suck again. Only time will tell.

He is a stop gap while the rookie gets his feet wet unless a trade comes along he will be cut next year.

wait huh? I thought it he was already cut. He'll end up on the Celtics, they're down a SF after Jeff Green is dealing with season ending heart surgery.

Reports of Spurs management exercising the amnesty clause on RJ were premature. They were hoping to land a big name at SF and had a good shot at a few but nothing materialized. What's worse is RJ knows he wasn't wanted and that he is still around by default. Not a good situation for anyone :frown:
