French NBA star Tony Parker could make a comeback at the end of the month after missing the World Championship.
The San Antonio Spurs guard broke a finger when he snagged it on another player's shirt in a warm-up game prior to the tournament in Japan.
France missed his presence as they crashed out in the quarter-finals.
"My finger is still swollen, a little bent, but I expect to be at 100% when our training camp begins on 1 October," Parker said in Paris.
He is due to play two exhibition games with the Spurs in France against Asvel on 5 October and Maccabi Tel Aviv three days later.
"I love playing in front of the French public, it's always a special moment," Parker added. "These are friendly matches but we cannot take them lightly."
