Pick'em contest - Win a jersey

We are going to have three jerseys donated for the contest by our very generous and longtime friend ALAMO50- winners will be cumulative point getters every other month until we give away the best jersey at the end of the regular season.

I need two things:

suggestions on how to best run the contest

someone to run it and keep track of points - post a leader board etc.

Please post your suggestions here and also if you are willing to help be the commissioner of this venture....

Does Yahoo still have a pick'em NBA?

Or you could run it like I run my Game of the Day at my board. Were you post the game(s) and have people say what team will win by how many points, and score it like this: exact score=10 points. closest score gets 5 points, guessing the winning team 2 points, and just playing gets you 1 point.

Cool. Club Blazers does a contest like this. They have people post their prediction on who will win the blazer games in the game day thread. They use total posts during the contest as a tie breaker. So people that enter first post how many posts they have at the start of the contest.

Once we get things sorted out you should defiantly send out a mass email about the contest.

Whose jerseys I might ask? All five-ohs?

The first 2 jerseys are an Admiral replica Champion home jersey and a Little General replica Champion home jersey. The numbers and letters are silk screened on the jerseys. These 2 have been pre-worn, just to discover that I have grown to be a big boy since I started following the Spurs 16 years ago. Rather than keeping them in my collection, knowing that I won't ever be able to represent our mighty Spurs again by wearing them, I want them to go to smaller fans that don't own any jerseys to represent and would be happy to get these pre-worn ones for free.

The big price is the 3rd jersey; an authentic Adidas Big Fundamental home finals jersey. The numbers, letters and finals patch have been stitched on the jersey. This awesome jersey has never been worn with tags from the NBA Store still attached. It's an XL size 52, length +2.
