Raptors to sign Maccabi's star Parker

The Raptors have called a news conference for this morning at which they are expected to announce the signing of Anthony Parker, a guard with Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel. The Raptors are also close to formally announcing the signing of Spanish forward Jorge Garbajosa. The anticipated deals have been put off briefly so all the necessary paperwork can be completed.<br>

I've seen this Anthony Parker play on NBATV's coverage of certain Euroleague games. He's a great player. I say it's a great signing for Toronto. <br>
