He played for Maccabi last season and I've watched him play since he arrived at Israel.He is a nice player with good shot blocking ability.He is athletic and can run the floor well.He is a pretty good dunker and from time to time he might even post up on somebody.Can hit the ball from around 15 feet.<br>

Kennedy Winston left Alabama after his junior year and went undrafted in 2005 NBA draft. Prior to the draft he was expected to go top 20 or maybe even lottery selection. I don't know what happened to that. He is listed as a good scorer but looks like his defense needs some serious help and he is not very active off the ball on offense. Scouting review is pretty much it. Each team puts together a team of potential NBA players along with their young players to see if any of them can be the 12th, or I guess its 13th man now. A bunch of scrubs who are on the cusp to make it into the NBA. Several will make it onto various teams. Most will not. Some will play in the NBDL. Many will end up in Europe or bagging groceries. <br>
<br>
The Spurs team seems to be many players with previous professional experience. One of them, other than Ian Mahimni may be that 13th man on the Spurs or another NBA team. Ian was the Spurs first round draft pick last year and he has signed a deal with a team in Europe already. They just want him to get some experience playing the NBA game. <br>
<br>
Teams like the Blazers and Hawks who have a bunch of young players they are trying to develop will likely dominate these leagues because they have the best young players. Teams choose different leagues around the country to participate in. <br>
<br>
This is basically how I understand summer league basketball. Maybe someone like Redneckbasketball of Misti that have experience summer leagues can explain it better. <br>

That is basically it, and also you will frequently see rookies playign so teams can get a better idea of what they can acutally do.
