Swore I'd never do it

Postby SpursFanInAK on Sun Jun 12, 2011 8:46 pm

I'm not rooting for the Mavs, but I'm pulling for Dirk. And Kidd. Cuban can still suck it but whatever. I tried to like the Heat, I had no problem with them teaming up, but it was how they did it. Don't hold a celebreation before even suiting up. Don't talk about winning not 1,2,3,4 or however many titles. Don't hold an hour-long special to announce where you are "taking your talents". And the one that did it for me, don't get caught on camera acting like a high-schooler mocking another player. Miami will win at least 1 title in the next 5 years anyway, they're only gonna get better.

Props Dirk!!!!!!!!!

Well it depends on if they can add any supporting cast the issues is they have 3 guys and a bunch of scrubs they need a bench but they have no real money for a bench. I think Bosh will be the odd man out and they will trad ehim to add depth and some one who adds a tough interior to the team.

I can actually see the Thunder winning one before the Heat.

Thet were lucky Kobe and Duncan got old. BTW, why is it that every other teams championship gear looks great and the Spurs championship gear looks lame?

Well said. I pretty much felt the same way.

One of the things Shaq said in a recent retirement interview was admitting he got caught up in the whole LA thing, movies, rap CD's, etc. LeBron should take that and learn to cut down on all the ridiculous media B.S. You're no Jordan and will never be.

And I agree, Spurs championship gear looks the best! ;)

I think the only lame gear we had was the 1999 gear when we had that hideous logo. I like the rest.
The game ain't over yet...

Blazers did better against the Mavs then anybody else did. That means we're gonna be good next year!

“This is going to be your league in a little while, But, uh, I appreciate you giving us this year.” --Tim Duncan on 2007 finals.

Did Dirk said this today?

I can also say the coaches battle has been won early in the series.
ok, Spoelstra is younger, Carlisle's been around for years and around true (Larry) legends.
Maybe that early season beef between LeBron and his coach was a sign that a young coach simply can't handle the pressure of distributing minutes and plays fairly between a big 3.
Maybe he should give Doc Rivers a call.
Carlisle is the kind of coach that has the guts to bench the likes of Artest for the remainder of the game for hoisting up ridiculous 3s early in the shotclock (during his Indiana days)
I don't see Spoelstra benching LeBron or Bosh just to prove a point.
