Ten Year Anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are quickly approaching the tenth anniversary of SpursHoops/SpursCentral/ClubSpurs as we know it.

For me, this all began during the lockout season. I was a regular poster on Hoffy's board SpursCentral before it moved to Rivals. When Gene "retired" from managing the board, NZ Spurs, Big Drew, Matt and myself took up the slack and we haven't looked back. We survived some trying and lean times, but the spirit of this site has remained in tact, which to me is nothing short of a miracle.

The contributors and posters make this place what it is, a great place to come and talk about the game we all love or jus kick back and visit with each other. A special thanks to chago4, Misti, 14dave, and Ace for helping me with managing things as well as all our mods and writers: grandedavid, samikeyP, spursnation, SpursFanIsreal, libri, and mutinous dog. If I left anyone out please forgive me.

It may sound corny, but you guys are my second famliy. I have had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, as well as many of the Spurs, thanks to this site. I will always be grateful for the opportunities it has afforded me, and for your friendship.

It might be fun if we all post our favorite SpursCentral/ClubSpurs memory in thsi thread and I also am planning a BIG ten year anniversary party for the upcoming season.

Well for me it's been a few months and those few months were great!

I love this board and its honestly the only one I am very active on. I've made friends on the chat and I enjoy posting here.

Here's to the 10 years and the incoming years CS will have!

Its been a long while for me (the 2003 Championship year I think) and I must say I dont know what things would have been like w\out people like Blondie\Drew\Maorza (where the hell r yah anywho)\Alamo50 and the rest...... its crazy being around so long and "see" people grow up like MIa, damn girl your getting old!

It´s always a pleasure to be in here where people are (most of the time) genuine friendly and interested in each other.

The smaller environment works pretty well and I am proud to have been here from the start....and yes, I miss the old schoolers like crazy too!

I think I have been around for about half that time, and enjoyed every last bit, this is a fun team to root for and Club Spurs/Spurs Central has been a great place to do it.

Yeah that wallpaper did generate a tad bit of controversey, and even though it was a lot of drama it was entertaining
