Is the NBA season To Long ?

I know a long season for Baseball works but again it is baseball it is a different animal

The NFL is 16 games long and every game week to week gets magnified yet it is also a different animal.

Should the NBA look at trimming the season from 82 games (yea yea arena Dollars but how many times have we seen half empty arenas during parts of the year) would 62 be a better Balance of length yet make each game count a little more in the standings delay the start of the season (I do not know if the 62 is a good number just a guess on my part) Would this help hype the playoffs better ?

So I think running the NBA into June for the playoffs is smart nothing really going on sports wise but maybe delaying when the season starts would be the smart move when football is in full swing the NBA just can not compete.

Just a questions to see what other basketball fans think since it is going to be a long while before they play

Oh heck no. It's perfect. Less games is bad news. More games of course is very acceptable.

If you look at player's body type say 25 years ago, the NBA athletes were runners. They didn't have massive bicepts and no necks. They were in better cardio shape. Guys would be sweating before tip off just to get warmed up. Nowadays I see only like one or two guys sweating out there, not the entire team on the both sides of the floor. It used to get so bad that even the mop boys would start sweating from all the work they had to do.

Maybe a lot of players back in the day couldn't simply push people out of the way and score easy baskets, but they sure could move, putting a lot more points on the board then teams nowadays.

Am I calling the league out for having too many tubby, out of shape players? ... absolutely
