Popovich also put Horry on the inactive list to give him some rest on the second night of a back-to-back. Jackie Butler took Horry's place on the active roster.

as much as I like Horry, I don't need to see him playing as many minutes as he's been playing until May. I really think Pop should give Elson more minutes. The more PT he gets, the faster he larns the system.

That's a good move by Pop. He needs to get these young guys some experience and save Horry's aging legs.

Also, Horry has not played very well so far (to put it midly). He has only been shooting 33.8% from the field and is hitting his freethrows at a 52.2% clip.

I'd like to see Pop make the same move with Finley. His shot is just gone. Manu is healthy again, Barry is playing very well, and the Spurs signed James White for a reason didn't they? Let's get White some experience now. It could pay off big time in the playoffs.
