Wizards And Jeffries Struggling To Reach Agreement

Washington Times - The Washington Wizards and forward Jared Jeffries have been unable to reach an agreement and negotiations have been halted at this time. <br>

"I would characterize the talks as both sides making an effort, but as of today it looks as if those efforts have been futile," agent Andy Miller said yesterday. <br>

Jeffries averaged 6.4 points and 4.9 rebounds and while he is an important piece of the puzzle to the Wizards, the team refuses to overpay him.<br>

I'd prefer Jeffries and Hunter before Collins. But Hunter is only a trade possibility and not even a rumor at that.<br>
