Parker Thinks Not.
Sporting News

The San Antonio Spurs are thought to be one of the most vulnerable teams in the NBA should the 2011-12 season be lost to a lockout. Their two best players, Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili are in their mid-30s, and some have speculated that should the season be canceled, Duncan—whose contract is set to expire next summer—would retire.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said back in May that Duncan had given him no indication that he’ll retire, and point guard Tony Parker also does not believe we’ve seen the last of the star power forward.
Teammates think Tim Duncan will be back for another season even if the 2011-12 season is lost to the lockout.

When asked by the San Antonio Express-News whether a canceled season would mean the end of Duncan’s career, Parker responded, “I don’t know. I don’t think so. I see myself playing at least two or three more seasons with Timmy.”

Parker also backed off comments he made in May that the Spurs should no longer be considered championship contenders.

“We still have a great team,” Parker told the Express-News. “We just have to stay positive. Right now, you’re thinking too far ahead.”

Even in crutches, Duncan would give you a double double and change.
