Anything before the deadline?

Anything before the deadline?

What are the chances that the Spurs make a trade before the trade deadline? IMO they should try and find a team that can take on McDyess and Bonner, maybe even Finley...what do you guys think?

team is finaly coming together so I would just be happy to keep it as it is. That includes Fin staying off the floor.

Bonner and Finley both have expiring contracts so there may be some value there.

They need to get Brendan Haywood and maybe one of the other Wizards young guys, Blatche or McGee.

That is all.

Something may be brewing with Ian. Pop all of a sudden decides to play him.

That or Pop realizes we need more length on the court I did not see the game but he was 6-6 9 reb and a block 5 fouls in 21 minutes not bad even if it is against the lowly Nets

Ian did play well in this one, even though I was giving him some crap in the game thread. I still don't see anyone really wanting him though. I guess he could be packaged along with other players though to make something work out.

It will be interesting to see if he stays on the active roster very long.

I don't like that trade either.
Reportedly Houston wants Bosh also. The question there, I think, is does Toronto want McGrady?

Hopefully Bosh doesn't go to L.A. because you might as well stop the NBA Season and give the Lakers the NBA title, I just don't see him there and I don't think he would fit in.

Back on the Spurs, the Nets placed Sean Williams on waivers, the Spurs could try him out. He is a young, athletic forward that can get up high. He probably doesn't have a high basketball IQ but he could help spark up the bench and be one of the role players. He still has a chance in the NBA.

I saw this too. Spurs would have to cut Hairston or Haislip though. I don't know if it would be worth it.

Those Bosh talks to the Lakers have been there at the same time J.O. talks to the Lakers rumours got started.
Brendan Haywood? Rather, Blatche, that guy can shoot the ball at least.
Pretty fundamentally sound inside moves. Remind you of somebody?

Hard to believe this, maybe just a rumour?
A center for a power forward? What about Lamar?
Back up for Gasol?
