Blazers getting Bulls' Thomas and Lakers' Vajacic?
By Mark J. Miller
Tyrus ThomasThe Portland Trail Blazers may be on the verge of making a few deals that would land them forward Tyrus Thomas(notes) from the Chicago Bulls and guard Sasha Vujacic(notes) from the Los Angeles Lakers, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
Plenty of teams are trying to get Thomas right about now. The Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets have reportedly made offers. The Nuggets apparently have recently tried to make trades for DeAndre Jordan(notes),Antonio McDyess (notes), and Ben Wallace(notes) recently but were rebuffed each time. And Houston was apparently trying to get Caron Butler(notes) from the Washington Wizards. Once the Dallas Mavericks snagged Butler this weekend, the Rockets apparently turned their energy toward trying to get Thomas or the Wizards' Antawn Jamison(notes).
The Trail Blazers apparently told teams this weekend that it might be able to get Vujacic and wondered if anybody else wanted him in a secondary trade. There is some speculation that Portland will end up with Thomas and Vujacic on its roster, according to Wojnarowski.

I doubt this will happen, the salaries really don't match unless you bring in Chris Anderson, which I doubt the Spurs would do.
