The Golden State Warriors have several players available for trades, including Mike Dunleavy, Troy Murphy and Jason Richardson.

Anyone interested in one of these guys? They all have their knocks against them. Dunleavy has not played well. Both Murphy and Richardson have had trouble with injuries.

Maybe we could trade Barry and Eric Williams for Richardson.

This brings us a Maggette-like player. Unfortunately he is probably 1 month away from playing due to a broken hand, and his contract is 5 years at about 10 mill per year. That's a lot to commit.

We could also do the same trade except for Murphy. I like Murphy, but he's not exactly the low post defender the Spurs need. He's a good rebounder and very good shooter, but he might be an overpaid version of Bonner right nowl.

As for Dunleavy for 8 mill per year. Please no.

I doubt the Spurs bite on any of these. If they do, I hope it's Richardson and I hope he gets healthy and stays healthy.

This might kill our chances at landing Maggette. Reportedly, Dunleavy the coach wants Dunleavy the player on his team. I could see Golden State trading Dunleavy and Keith McLeod for Maggette.

Of course, Golden State would have even more motivation to trade Richardson if that trade went down. I like Maggette better than Richardson. He is a much better foul shooter. He's also cheaper and has a shorter contract.

Pop might have waited too long on Maggette, or maybe the Clippers weren't interested in Udrih and Barry.

Richardson is the best of the bunch but the contract for every one of those guys puts them way out of reach. Richardson is set to make $10mil this season alone.
