I actually like the idea of trading for Jaric. He is 6'7 although he is a shoot first PG, who can rebound well. So if pop decided to go small, he wouldnt really have to go small with maybe a lineup of Parker, Jaric, Manu, Bowen, Duncan.

Again though the chances of the spurs making a trade is very unlikely but in a way you get a ball handler and a guard/forward in one person

I don't think the Spurs should do it. Jaric has a 5 year contract at 5.5+ million per year. That's a lot to commit to a guy in his 5th year in the league who still hasn't lived up to his "potential." Is he really worth that much?

I was a bit worried since we know Pop is a slavophile and every other "itch" that he has signed to the team has been kind of disappointing. Udrih, Nesterovich. Thankfully though it looks like he is about to be shipped to the Pistons for Nazr or McDyess. That should clear out the frontcourt in Detroit for Webber.

I've read as well about Jaric going to Detroit for either Nazr,McDyess or D.Davis.

Jaric is really a nice "big" PG.But I don't think Pop likes his lack of defense.

Marko was Manu's teamate in Italy, but no thanks I'm not interested in Jaric. As Wolf pointed out he is overpaid. We would have to give up Barry to get Marko here.
