The dullest blockbuster trade ever is unfolding

The Wizards, Blazers, and Hawks are looking into a 3-way trade.

I guess this is an OK trade for the Blazers. They get another undersized shooting guard and swap Magloire for Wright. I kind of wonder why the Wizards would do this? Maybe because Etan Thomas is tired of having Haywood yank his dreadlocks out? Maybe the Blazers think that having Salim back home in Portland will get people to go to the Rose Garden? Right.

Atlanta Journal Constitution -
Sekou Smith of the Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting that the Atlanta Hawks , Portland Trailblazers, and Washington Wizards are discussing a multi-player trade.

The rumored deal would have the Blazers sending Jamaal Magloire to the Wizards who would send Brendan Haywood and Jarvis Hayes to the Hawks while they send Lorenzon Wright, Salim Stoudemire, and Esteban Batista to the Blazers.

Yeah, talk about a bunch of scrubs. I agree it would work out best for the Blazers talent wise but they would have to cut a player or two to make it work. There roster on nba.com says it is at 15, although I thought they cut Stephen Graham already, maybe not. Also Magloire's contract is up at the end of the year while Lorenzen Wright still has another year remaining.
