Audio video question

Audio video question

Postby mouse on Wed Nov 15, 2006 11:14 pm

This was posted in another forum maybe you can help.

A friend of mine has two copies of Saw III, the one in English looks like crap. and you can see peoples heads and hear folks talking. (camcorder) The other copy is DVD excellent quailty and very good picture but is in French.

How can I add the sound track from the English movie to the French movie?

Thank you.

you'll have to extract the audio from the english version. you can usually do this with an audio editing program and theres one conversion tool I have on my mac at home that does this. You may also want to try http://www.media-convert.com and see if you can convert the video file into an mp3 so it saves only the audio. Now adding the english audio to the better video version will take some work depending on what format its in, but you should be able to open it in something like Final Cut, strip out the other audio and paste in the english audio. Honestly, I'd just go search bitjunkie, thepiratebay or something else for another copy of SAW and download it with a bit torrent client. It's the easiest and probably least time consuming.

Can you repeat all that in spanish ? thanks for the info It looks like I should just pay you to do it

I thought that final cut was for MAC PCs I have final cut, Boris, Advid ,and FX, you name it, I just don't have the GED yet to figure it all out, :bang:

I think it will just be easier to give my friend the 10 dollars so he can go see Saw III at the theater

Thanks for the tip, are you into TV/radio? I know you have a job, may I ask what it is?

lmao @ giving your friend 10 bucks

and I'm just a big tech enthusiast, but my job is as a graphic designer.

Tell your friend to play both vids at the same time, turn the volume up on the english one and minimize it, and turn the volume down on the french one if his computer can handle it.

If I had 1/10th of your talent ,I would apply at many jobs. News.Pixar.FOX,etc....

I have a WinTvr card in my PC when I lower the sound it lowers all the sound on the PC, If I want to lower the sound to the french movie the english movie goes down also.

My PC has sound Blaster Live and the TV card comes with Consnex type of driver.

Tonight I will play with the folders and see if I can somehow manipulate them so they can play in different movie files.

The other day my 160 GB HD would not boot up. so I installed a 30 GB HD and used the 160 as a slave, then I took out the temp files of some shows I am downloading off Bitlord put them on DVD and installed them on another PC, so far it worked.

I have all 20 James bond movies they are are 4 folders at 20 GBs each. I was at 47% of completed download when the HD would not boot up. I did not want to start over, it took two weeks to get that far as it was.

I spent the whole night jacking with my 1998 PC. I had one movie on Emule at 98% I was not about to start over.

I can see now why folks buy those 250 GB hard drives.

I may be w/o cable after Monday I did not pay the bill so my downloading days are over until I move

i know what you mean man. i have a 250gb external firewire hard drive that I had my entire Music library on and all my torrented movies included regular incremental backups of my main hard drive and that dies the other day when we had a power outtage at my house. By the way, if you should also be abe to control one programs sound instead of the sound of the entire computer. Like in quicktime, windows media etc.. there should be a slider that controls the volume of only that window or app.

I just installed a 500 GB HD in my MacPro, that had a 250 GB HD already. I also have a 160 and 250 GB external.

Video EATS hard drive space.

Mad was right about Final Cut. You should be able to swap out the audio tracks easily if they are not yet rendered video/audio files.

FC Pro is amazing. But it's Mac Only! :jam2:

After reading both of your posts, my PC seems like a big wheel next to you Harley Davidsons. how the hell you hook up a 500 GB HD with USB port, doesn't it use up all the resources? Those USB ports have only so much power unless you have a booster. or a PC made after 1998

what do you guys use to check for Trojans? I downloaded over 100 music files yesterday and MY PC would not boot back up I think I installed the MY Doom virus.

Or else it was the Nip/tuck season one off Bitlord. What do you guys use to check your files? I hate Norton and McAffe they are like AOL you never get rid of that s*** completely. I installed Alchol 120 and Advid and I can't figure that s*** out,

So I spend all day playing with banner maker pro 6 and easy GIF animator, while I wait for my SS Check to come in,

You guys need any code keys? I have over 3,500 of them. Hurry cuz after Friday I will be w/o Time Warner. :brow:
check out how long this banner is......

we use macs so we don't use anything for antivirus or antispyware. By the way the Mac Pro is a great system..I wish I had the cash for one of those.
