Bruce Bowen - WOW!

Most people might think that staying belly-button to belly-button with Kobe all night would be challenge enough. But tonight Bruce decided to make it a little more interesting.<br>

In addition to playing his usual smothering defense, he found the time to score a team high 27 points. He made 7 of 8 treys!! <br>

That was the best display of long range shooting I have ever seen! He was jumping up to drag passes from above his head then coming down and firing away out of rhythm! THAT IS HARD TO DO! <br>

Bruce was awesome, This was a outstanding <!--EZCODE BOLD START--><strong>TEAM</strong><!--EZCODE BOLD END--> win. Tim did not have to do all the work even though he almost had a triple double. He had help from everybody. The bench, what can I say. I am losing my voice because of all the yelling I did. Great pic! And what a great nickname for Bruce. I thought the look on Phil's face was perfect when Bowen sank his 5th three pointer. I almost thought I saw him smile? Van Gunday stated that they had a party when Bowen signed with the Spurs because now he was out of the Eastern Conference. The whole team was great! <p></p><i></i>

Bruce had the extra half step last night. He played with confidence, and proved anyone who has doubted him in the past wrong. Bowen took his career to a new level last night. <br>

It's been a lot of fun watching the various players develop on the Spurs. It's great to see everyone in the organization help their co-workers improve. Congrats to Bruce, you have arrived, and truly belong in the NBA. <p></p><i></i>
