Civility of this board

I am surprised to see so many intelligent posts by both sides(Spurs,Mavs). Granted some posts are heated, but still you can find great posts.<br>

My first post I probally shouldn't have done. I took out the "o"s in San Antonio, in reaction to what has commonly taken place on this site along with many Kings sites, "allas".<br>

As a Mavs fan I think I can speak for most Mavs fans in saying that we have great respect for the job Pop has done and the entire Spurs team for that matter.<br>

I'm sure that if the Kings would have won I would be pulling for the Spurs. <p></p><i></i>

A high school friend of mine, who does sportscasting in Dallas at a major station, told me that Dallas has the worst bandwagon fans he's seen. <br>

I found this site from kingsfanclub.com , which is a great site. I can't even go to the Mavs boards anymore because of too many fire Nelson and trade the whole team posts, although lately it has become a little better due to the recent success of making it to the WCF. <p></p><i></i>

Who is you friend if I might ask. I've lived here in the Metroplex all of my life, thus the allegiance. In my experience Cowboy fans are the ones who are bandwagon/fairweather fans, not Mavs fans or any other major sports franchise fans here. But the Cowboy fans who are from here aren't bandwagon jumpers. The people from AZ, CA, LA, and othe states who have no geographical allegiance to the Cowboys are the ones who are the bandwagon jumpers. I hate to post his name here...but he is with local Fox station (I'm pretty sure)...blonde hair, but not much of it...I think it has receded a lot since HS. First name Chris.<br>

He's a regular with me and a number of others who talk @#%$ back and forth via email instead of work...especially during the playoffs. We played football together...he was one year ahead of me. Decent athlete. Terrible at hoops though. He has sent us some pictures of him with various sports stars (my favorite was him and Jimmy Johnson). Cool gig. But he has had to pay his dues to get into that market.<br>
