Did anyone else turn off the T.V?

This is just the way the Spurs have played this year and I don't think they'll change this postseason. They are able to run up the big leads early because they are superior (and often younger) to the other teams but during those runs. Also, during those runs, there are a few mistakes made (for example, charging fouls) due to the aggressiveness.

In the second half the other team has come up with a plan to counteract, the Spurs may be a little overconfident and drop down in their aggressiveness at the same time, then in the fourth it is hard to pick it back up again. Also, because of the aggressiveness fouls during the nice run, we have folks in foul trouble. This is what happened in game 1.

If the Spurs played on a even keel throughout the game and the score always close, we wouldn't be having these coronaries every fourth quarter. The '99 championship team had more veterans and were able to keep all games close throughout the course of the game. They would then pull it out at the end because of the veteran composure. I know during that year, I felt like if the Spurs were within say, 10 points in the fourth, that we'd win.

We may get back to those days as we get to know each other over time, but they're doing just fine for a lot of folks that had not played much together.

Oh yeah, and we need a free throw coach for the team! Imagine with as many times as we go to the line, and we hit 85% or better of them!
I don't worry about it really. Just thought no garbage time in this game.
