Fred Carter is an idiot

Dear heavens, how does this guy have a job as an analyst? <Walton>He's just horrrrrible!</Walton><br>

His latest? If we sweep the Lakers, the Kings will beat us, as we apparently have no chance against the Kings.<br>
<br>
And his manner on that NBA 2 Night show. Constantly saying "uh huh" like it's a really neat phrase he's come up with. Constantly saying "Word" to everything.<br>
<br>
His analysis is either wrong or blindingly obvious.<br>

I just had to rant.<br>

He, just like the boys on PTI, is afraid to admit that the Spurs have a real chance to end the Lakers run. It would signal the end to the "dynasty" and an end to the media hype. This year has been a long time coming. All the analysts said the Lakers hadn't improved since last year. However, every other team has made changes and added players to improve their team (i.e. Manu!! Manu!!)<br>

Did anyone catch Jabbar guest commentating for the Dallas game? (he was a guest with Walton and the other guy for a few minutes) He was giving the Spurs huge praise for their style of team play. He said they play great D and great O.<br>

i have noticed this with about everyone associated with espn. tolbert dogs the spurs and picked the lakers to win..of course he has gone record to sa yt he sputrs would lose the kings if they did play. carter has used some funky logic. he said if LA won this series they win the championship but if the Spurs do Sacto wins the championship. i am trying to figure out how you can beat the favorite and then not at least given a chance to win..he is saying you can beat the team that can beat the kings but you won't beat the kings.. i would love to persoanlly ask him to explain this logic.. anyway the Spurs will not get credit even if they do win because all we will hear is how LA will be back next year..watch out for the lakers..or sacto wasn't at full strangth..etc. we will never get the repect of these guys. personally i don't let it bother me anymore. if we win the tit<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :texan --><img src=http://www.myezboard.com/projects/ezboard/ezboard_userimages/autres45.gif ALT=":texan"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> le no one can take that away no matter how hard they try. we have to win everything to get an iota of respect..and i mean iota.. <p></p><i></i>

Overall, I'm just sick of the Spurs-hating the media has been doin lately, except for Chuck. It makes me wonder if they even have seen what the Spurs did to the entire league since the start of the new year... <p></p><i></i>

Actually FC changed his tune somewhat I thought on the NBA 2night from that crappy PTI segment. He sounded more desperate for the lakers. They have to do this & they have to do that. They'll be happy IF the lakers win tonight which I really doubt. The Spurs are just displaying too much energy and it seems to me their confidence is just through the roof and their victories came without Duncan having to score much. If they lay off Duncan, forget it - he'll stick em for 40 / 20 / 10. <p></p><i></i>
