Marbury really held this team together but my vote when to AMARE... his Virtical real gave the Spurs some surprising
trouble.
Two Favorite teams in the NBA
I voted for the rookie also, but I must say that Starbury gained a lot of respect in this series.

Every one lived up to my expectation except the Matrix he sucked . So my vote goes to Voskuhl he played well but alas to no avail.

"This is a business; you have to understand that," Parker said. "Jason Kidd is the best point guard in the league. Maybe the Spurs are going to take a shot at him. I don't know. We'll see how we do at the end of the season. Marbury hands down! I didn't think he could will a team to win. Especially with his past history in Minnie and New Jersey. The guy has shown huge heart. These guys are going to be dangerous next year.
SPURSMANIA -
gotta go with the rook. the kid is going to be a monster. needs to learn a little humiility though. Willis should have elbowed him.

Voskuhl surprised me the most. They guy shot very well and played solid D. I wouldn't mind having him on the Spurs bench.

I voted Marbury...He suprised me with his leadership and his tough play even though he wasn't 100% healthy...Amare met my expectation of being just another super talented punk...I agree, Willis should have elbowed him...

The most surprising Sun to me was Joe Johnson, but not because he played great. Wasn't he scoring about 20 ppg to end the regular season, including in that last win over the Spurs? Then we get to round 1, and he is completely shut down, first by Bowen, and then later by Manu and SJax when Bowen switched to guarding Marion. Is Manu's D that good?
--

I didn't vote, cuz none of theme surprised me. Voshkul made me want to gag everytime I saw him on the court (for some reason I couldn't stand the site of him). Steph played like he usually does, although he did suck in a couple of the games more than he usually does, and I knew Amare was good so there were no surprises for me. They were all equal, no standouts IMO.
Marbury surprised me the most. Amare had one good game then he dissapeared.
