But this year, we weren’t so lucky. With Rick Fox, then Deaven George obtaining their injuries, it justified what we have lost. I wanted to post a link to it here, because here, at least you guys are up for a debate. It's rare for a Laker fan on a Spurs fan board to get along. But you guys are alright...<br>

What pisses me off is the national media saying that the injuries of Fox and George have hurt the Lakers playoff chances. I know they are good players but the Lakers only feed off of Shaq and Kobe. IMO the reason so many fans seem to be abandoning the Laker ship is because they were never really fans. There are people who just like to be aligned with a winner, so they have been Laker fans for the past three years. <br>

In other words, you find out who your true friends are when you have troubles.<br>

Your observation that the Lakers have been blessed with good health the past three years is important. I know Shaq's toe has been a recurring and debilitating injury for him and when he's hurt the team suffers. I think his fear of failure is greater than his fear of kidney disease and he is now taking the steroids and anti-inflammatory drugs to get through the playoffs.<br>

Your conclusion that the series is not over is right on target. Anything can happen. SWalker could turn into a great basketball player. I was just watching the recap on ESPN. Both announcers <!--EZCODE BOLD START--><strong>emphatically</strong><!--EZCODE BOLD END--> stated that LA would get calls on Friday and Sunday, and would come back to win the series. <p></p><i></i>

The Lakers have talked too much on the injury thus far!!!<br>

As for injury, I should say something here.Just two years ago we lose the second scorer Derk Anderson. Last year, we at least was a contender when Robinson and Duncan were not on the court. And all spurs didn't complain antthing as far as I know. The Lakers have complain too too much anout the injury and the ref. So this is a three-time defending champion and a gentlman's demeanour? A crybaby I think. If a franchise doesn't play well as if he doesn't on the floor and loses the ballgame. Could it be a excuse? May be it is a irrelvant example. However it let you know how sucks that Lakers take such a excuse to obliterate our effort throughout the whole season. This don't fair<br>

this is true but if you do play ball you also know that injuries are part of the game, you have to suck it up and keep going. No one felt sorry when the Spurs had injuries and no one feels sorry for LA, and that is the way it is and should be. Well, no one may have to feel sorry for injuries, but no matter what <!--EZCODE BOLD START--><strong>anyone</strong><!--EZCODE BOLD END-->sais, it's a major factor. Especially to this Laker team, like I said in the article, all the Lakers strong firepower and athletisism went to hell when those two are out...<br>
