You're right, <!--EZCODE BOLD START--><strong>Texas42m</strong><!--EZCODE BOLD END-->, what Van Exel said was no different from what many frustrated players on a team that just lost have said.<br>

But when you compare Game 1 and Game 2 it comes acress as a silly thing to say. <br>
<br>
Van Exel was not criticizing an over-officiated first game because his team won the free throw shooting contest. His silence implied he thought the refs did a good job.<br>
<br>
But when his team loses, he not only criticizes the refs, he also refuses to give any credit to the winning team.<br>
<br>
He's not winning any sportmanship awards either!<br>
<br>
I agree entirely when you call him an emotional spark plug. He is great in that role and every team needs one. I just wish he did it with a little more class. <p></p><i></i>
