Everyone considers Phil Jackson a great coach of the NBA. Yeah, sure...hes won a lot of titles with the Bulls and now the Lakers. But think about it..in Chicago, he had Michael Jordan, the greatest player of all time and Scottie Pipen probably one of the best complimentary players of the time,

And what about now in LA, he has Shaq, a superstar, one of the most dominating players of our time (only because hes a whopping 7 footer at over 300 pounds) and Kobe, another superstar who, in my opinion will only get better when he realizes what Jordan did in Chicago and he starts doing it himself, and thats getting the rest of his team involved.

With either the Chicago Bulls of the 90s or the LA Lakers of today, I think any decent coach could have coached them to victory. Yes, he has a great deal of wins in the playoffs...and a bucketload of Championship rings, but is he really a great coach, or is he just great at knowing how to pick a team who has championship written all over it?

P.S. He kinda reminds me of the coach in the Waterboy movie...where he holds on tight to his notebook of plays that he ripped off of the other coach (The Fonz)...no coaching ability whatsoever...just a lucky fool who without his notebook or in Phils case...without his superstars is just a whining baby.
