This should be great peepz....... It everything you could want. The 3 time defending champs boxed in a corner within their kingdom......

Will the thought of HISTORY elevate them to the promise land?

Did the shot by HORRY "IN and OUT" tella new story...

Has the situation now caused the GIANT to be awoken....?

Or are these Champions finally tired enough to let go? Is SHAQ in too much pain. Is Phil thinking about a hospital bed. Does FOX on the bench in a cast feel like they are missing some bullts to ward off the hungry hawks...?

Its SHOWTIME Spur Fan......You gotta love it.

Amen to that. Manu does make some mistakes - like driving the lane at ill advised times, but overall I think the positives outweigh the negatives. They need to run a bunch of high pick and rolls with Manu and Tim as the Lakers will have to defend Manu's medium range jumper, and Manu needs to just keep on driving into the lane - ill advised or not.
And give Malik some stickum.

Spurs win in a squeaker

Postby tphuey on Thu May 15, 2003 3:24 pm

The role players finally come together, Jax, Manu, Malik, Speedy, Bruce and TP all have strong games. The Spurs play on the road like they have since the All-Star Break.

But the Lakers are inspired. Shaq wants to dominate. Kobe is his unstoppable self...

Spurs win a hard fought, well reffed contest 99 - 92.

Spurs 95
Lakers 90

Our role players hit the big shots down the stretch like they did in game 6 vs. Suns.
Spurs by 4. Lakers just out of buzzer beater range. Gets dicey at the end as Duncan has to make some FT's.
