I feel defeated. The 4th quarter meltdown was one of the worst I have seen. The Spurs deserved to lose the game. The Spurs should have lost the game. They gave it away but lucked out. <br>

Tim choked in the 4th. Tony choked (again) twice. SJ choked at the line. <br>

Where's the bright spot? Oh, I found it. The Spurs actually got the ball in bounds this time. <p></p><i></i>

I don't understand it either. I know we should be glad about a win by why can't they close out games? I almost THREW UP....... <p></p><i></i>

Here's what I think is good about it. First, they got the W and are only 1 game away from the WCF. Also, the Spurs will most definitely not be overconfident heading into the Paperclips center. Contrary to what Magic, Kenny, and Chuck say, I think this helps the Spurs. When they show up overconfident, they get blown out. Spurs could easily win game 6. I have to couch that with my standard disclaimer about the necessity of unbiased officiating.<br>

Phil came out with a small ball game plan after the half and it threw Pop and the Spurs for a loop. I really believe that Phil has shown all his cards at this point.<br>

Also, the Lakers hit a bunch of tough clutch shots to battle back into that game. I still think the Spurs look liked the better team out there. The Lakers can win a quarter when they have to, but they might not be able to win the game. <p></p><i></i>

It was defintely one of the worst meltdowns, win or lose. The Spurs were a defeated team. You could see it in their eyes that the lakers were going to get what ever they wanted. The lakers got a great look at the three from one of their best three point shooters, one of the best big shot makers ever. The ball went half way down and spinned out. Maybe Robert Horry has run out of magic. I seriously doubt it, but we should all feel really lucky right now. <p></p><i></i>
