I heard Malik got in trouble with Pop for yelling at TP for not passing him the ball on offense. He wants to shoot more I guess because he worked on his shot in the off-season. He doesn't understand that he earned that big contract by hustling and rebounding and playing his heart out for an undersized power forward/center. He needs to first continue what he was doing before, and THEN he can get the ball passed to him on offense. He can't do one and neglect the other.<br>

I witnessed in the Sonics or Clippers game towards the end in crunch time that Malik was really fighting for position and looked frustrated as he was calling for the ball at the top of the key. It looked like he was frustrated with TP again, as he had his hands out expecting the ball. Parker just ignored him and dribbled toward the right side, and shot up a brick and the other team got the rebound. What a waste of a possession in such a critical time. Anyway, I can see how Malik would be frustrated with that play. Now I know that rumour of Malik being in Pop's doghouse for chewing out TP sounds credible.
