Being a first person source here's several things I noticed (I was at the game in my $9 cheap seats at the top of section 227).

The offense was dead. We started out cold shooting under 20% in the first quarter. Most of the Spurs were hesitant to shoot as the game progressed, culminating in the fourth. The Spurs consistently made the extra pass when an open shot was available.

The result? More turnovers (due to extra unexpected passes) and more hurried jump shots with the shot clock expiring.

The exception to the rule was Jackson in the fourth, who was the only player to challenge the Blazer defense in the paint. Jackson played with poise, logging some time at point forward. Jackson was allowed to play point forward when Parker was off the floor, most evident at the end of quarters as Jackson set up for the last second shot.

The refs called a loose game until Ferry's technical.

Overall the Spurs were flat. Very little movement on either end of the floor. At times they struggled to even in bound the ball.

The Spurs consistently allowed Blazers into the paint around the baseline. In contrast, as mentioned earlier, the Spurs struggled to find a player willing to fight their way to the basket.
Duncan did have two great fast break dunks. It's nice to see the big guy running and finishing strong.
