Their biggest need at the moment is at point, with Jeff McInnis expected to find a new home via free agency. McInnis is very solid, but they want more of a setup man. Odom played some point, and Keyon Dooling is a solid backup.

At sg Pike was the starter (who is a FA) and Richardson filled in nicely off the bench. McInnis took a lot of shots and most of the important shots, so it was like they had 2 shooting guards on the floor at all times.

They are completely stacked at small forward, with Odom, Miles, and Richardson all starter caliber with superstar potential.

If Brand stays they have the starting pf spot locked up, and they drafted 2 quality pfs with the #8 and #12 picks in the draft. It is hard to say what the status is here especially with the unpredictable owner, but I would expect some movement at this position (probably 1 or both of the picks will be packaged to bring in a new point guard).

Kandi is a FA this year and it remains to be seen what his status is. If they let Kandi go (which is very possible) they will have a big hole in the middle. They could definitely also use a quality backup center.
DId I miss anything? Devin? Binkle? Jim?

IF Lamar Odom were to, by some loooooong shot, end up in San Antonio, I just pray that I don´t pick up the Express News one day and read that he got busted smoking a bowl in front of the Alamo!
"David Robinson represents everything that is good in the world, and everything that is good in the world of sports," former NBA star and current NBC commentator Bill Walton said. "We can never thank him enough for his leadership. Everything he did represents the great values you look for in a human being. We are going to miss him terribly."
