I think there's a chance they might win one game, but I don't think they will. I'm smelling a sweep in the air!

I expect the Lakers to come out hard at StableCenter. Its their home court/home fans. If they don't or can't keep up with the Spurs and get down again by 15 points I think the Lakers will fold . then I would say the phrase that refers to a broom to refer to this series. It should be a real barn burn burner the first half. ,
SPURSMANIA -
I think LA will get Game 3 but SA gets game 4. I will take a split and have no problem coming back to the SBC up 3-1. I agree with NZ.....if LA does not win game 3, they will not win game 4

I just can't see a sweep. I think the akers will get one. I have no problem splitting them in LA and coming back to the SBC to finish them off. However, if LA wants to do us a favor and lose both, I WON'T COMPLAIN AT ALL!!

I think I'm like most here.

I find a sweep hard to imagine really -- but, if we win Game 3, we'll win Game 4 too.

But I really want one game from LA - and the return to the SBC to finish in 5, like I've predicted from the start! he he

The Spurs have not won the series yet, only two games. I hope the team takes the series one game at a time. Game three is just one game. The Spurs can't win or lose the series tonight. It's a four game series, the Spurs are half way there, but if the Spurs will lose the seires if they only have two wins at the end of the series.

My expectations are the same as Game Two, the three time champs are going to make a stand and the Spurs will be waiting for them. It's going to be the toughest match up of the year for both teams. And the Spurs can win it. Just like they won during the toughest road trip of the year. Just like they won the previous toughest match up of the year, Game Two of the First round without the Admiral or Willis. Let's go Spurs, let's win one tonight.

Quote:
``These guys are the three-time champs. They don't get down, it's not in their personality,'' Spurs star Tim Duncan said of the Lakers.

``That's nothing to be up 2-0,'' San Antonio's Tony Parker said. ``We need to show that we can win on the road now.''

Edited by: sisyphos2 at: 5/9/03 9:48:33 am

I want to see the Spurs split in LA.

However, I think it is very possible we will get both. If we only win 1 of the 2 games, I would take game 4 so we have the momentum going into game 5.

If we lose both, its a whole new series. I cant see that happening though. Not the way these two teams are playing. It would take a 180 from BOTH teams for that to happen.
-Brian

I hope that our players do not share in your over confidence. 2-0 is an awful solid lead, but the look of a 7 game series can change game to game. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. There is still much work to do, and Kobe and Shaq are not the ones injured and on the bench.
